The Salvation Army Responds to Oregon Wildfires - Update #2

The State of Oregon has asked The Salvation Army to provide 6,000 boxed meals daily for three evacuee locations:

  • Clackamas Town Center at 12000 SE 82nd Ave, Happy Valley, OR 97086, starting Thursday, September 10.

  • Oregon State Fairgrounds at 2330 17th St. NE, Salem, OR 97303, starting Friday, September 11.

  • Jackson County Expo at 1 Peninger Rd, Central Point, OR 97502, starting Friday, September 11. 
     

The Salvation Army will continue providing meals in Linn, Douglas, and Lincoln Counties.  

  • LINN COUNTY: Serving meals to evacuees at the Linn Benton Fairgrounds at 3700 Knox Butte Rd E, Albany, OR 97322.

  • DOUGLAS COUNTY: Serving meals to evacuees at the Douglas County Fairgrounds at 2110 Frear St, Roseburg, OR 97471.

  • LINCOLN COUNTY: Serving dinner at Newport Recreation Center at 225 SE Avery St, Newport, OR 97365.
     

The Salvation Army is also providing drinks, N95 masks, sack lunches, snacks, and coffee at Clackamas Town Center at 12000 SE 82nd Ave, Happy Valley, OR 97086, starting Thursday, September 10. 

The Salvation Army HOPE House in Medford is currently sheltering 43 evacuees, providing meals, and is expecting more evacuees.
