Siouxland Salvation Army Remains Ready to Support Community Amid New Flooding Threat

REMINDER TO COMMUNITY:  FLOOD RELIEF SUPPLIES, ASSISTANCE STILL AVAILABLE AT SIOUXLAND SALVATION ARMY

Siouxland-Area Residents Affected by Latest Round of Flooding Are Encouraged to Stop by Disaster Resource Center (DRC) in Sioux City

The Siouxland Salvation Army still has flood-cleanup kits and other related resources available for people to pick up at its Disaster Resource Center (DRC).

With areas such as South Sioux City and Dakota Dunes facing the threat of additional flooding this week—after dealing with the Flood of 2019 earlier this spring—the Siouxland Salvation Army staff wants to make sure the public is aware that they’re here to help.

The Siouxland Salvation Army continues to operate the DRC at its building, which is located at 1415 Villa Avenue in Sioux City.  The DRC is a place for people affected by the flooding to come to in order to pick up flood-relief items and get additional support.

The DRC’s current operating hours are as follows:  Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.  It is closed Saturdays and Sundays.
