Flood-Relief Supplies Still on Offer at Metro-Area DRCs

FLOOD-RELIEF SUPPLIES, ASSISTANCE STILL ON OFFER:  SALVATION ARMY WESTERN DIVISION RENEWS INVITATION FOR PEOPLE IN NEED OF ITEMS, SUPPORT TO VISIT SARPY-CASS DISASTER RESOURCE CENTER (DRC)

 

Sarpy-Cass DRC’s Hours Changing as Operation Moves into Third Week

 

The Salvation Army Western Division is again inviting people in and around the metro area who are in need of flood-relief items to go to its two metro-area Disaster Resource Centers (DRC).

 

Specifically, they are:  the Sarpy-Cass DRC (in the old JC Penney store at the south end of Southroads, 1001 Fort Crook Road, Ste. 250, Bellevue) and the Council Bluffs DRC (715 N. 16th St.).

 

PLEASE NOTE:  The operating hours of the Sarpy-Cass DRC are changing, starting Thursday, April 18.  Its new hours will be as follows:

  • Monday through Saturday noon – 6 p.m.

 

The operating hours of the Council Bluffs DRC will remain unchanged:

  • Mondays and Thursdays:  9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays:  9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Saturdays:  9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
  • Sundays:  closed

 

Both DRCs will remain in operation until further notice.
