UP TO 500 MEALS PER DAY:  SALVATION ARMY COUNCIL BLUFFS CORPS SET TO EXPAND ONGOING FOOD-SERVICE EFFORT TODAY IN FLOOD-IMPACTED HAMBURG, IOWA

The Salvation Army Council Bluffs (Iowa) Corps is set to expand its ongoing food-service efforts in Hamburg, Iowa starting today, Friday, April 12.

The Corps team has already been serving lunch to people in the flood-impacted southwest Iowa community for the last two weeks; now, they’ve been called to expand their work to include serving dinner.

This change will see as many as 500 meals per day served by Salvation Army representatives in Hamburg.

Salvation Army canteens (mobile kitchens) crewed by officers, staff, and volunteers will be bringing these meals to Hamburg.
