Salvation Army Service Locations for southeast TN and northwest GA Locations for May 11

Chattanooga TN - May 11, 2011 - The Salvation Army continues to meet the needs of our community by providing emotional, physical, and spiritual support.  We appreciate the overwhelming support  from all over the country that has been given to help the Salvation Army carry out our mission.  

In Tennessee:

Bradley County, TN – The Joint Disaster Recovery Center is located at the Old Cleveland Bank and Trust Building, 10 Church Street NE, Cleveland, TN 37311.  We are making the transition today to 2960 Barney's Lane, a one-stop warehouse that should be operational by Thursday.  They are still serving hot meals along Dalton Pike approximately 1 mile south of Walmart.

Hamilton County, TN –  The Salvation Army Disaster Recovery Centers are located at The Salvation Army in East Lake, 2140 East 28th Street, Chattanooga, TN 37407 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and in Tiftonia at John A. Patten School, 3202 Kelly’s Ferry Rd., Chattanooga, TN 37419 from 12:00 - 6:00 p.m.

In Georgia:

Catoosa County, GA – The Joint Disaster Recovery Center is located at 36 Muscogee Trail, Ringgold, GA, 30736 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  

Walker County, GA – The Joint Disaster Recovery Center is located at Walker County Agriculture Center, 10058 N. Highway 27, Rock Springs, GA 30739 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Monetary donations are still needed to continue in these relief efforts.  Please donate on-line to www.salvationarmyusa.org or by calling 1-800-Sal-Army (1-800-725-2769) or by texting the word “give” to 80888 where a $10 donation will appear on your phone bill.   You may also visit www.csarmy.org as well.
